Formed in 2004 this dynamic, ground-breaking 11-piece played to thousands of people at festivals and on tour, recorded five studio albums (selling over a quarter of a million copies), were the proud recipients of two silver discs and won a staggering eight BBC Radio 2 Folk Awards.
After twelve years, Bellowhead called it a day in 2016 going out in style with a sell-out show at the London Palladium. The band members re-connected online during the lockdown in 2020 and released New York Girls At Home – produced remotely from their respective homes around the UK. This unplanned performance was warmly received and led to an in-person show recorded at a large house outside London. This one-off performance was broadcast online in December 2020, selling over 10,000 tickets and featuring a host of Bellowhead favourites, including New York Girls, Roll Alabama, London Town and Roll the Woodpile Down.
Reassembled is the live session recording from the 2020 online broadcast. It is the band’s first release as a double vinyl LP and is also available on CD and digital.
