Event Details

In one of a series of three concerts at An Grianan Theatre, Letterkenny being filmed by Aniar TV  and broadcast by TG4 at a later date, Goitse will be joined by the Henry Girls and Na SíFiddlers.

The popular and multi-award-winning quintet, Goitse (pictured above) was formed at Irish World Academy at the University of Limerick. Named as the Live Ireland  Traditional Group of the Year, the Chicago Irish American News Group of the Year, as well as winning the prestigious Freiburger International Leiter award in Germany, Goitse is one of the leading ensembles in the new generation of traditional Imusicians.

From Inishowen the three sisters, Karen, Lorna and Joleen, who make up the Henry Girls, interweave traditional music with bluegrass, jazz and country with compassion, insight, and warmth, both in their lyrics and their musicianship.

Na SíFiddlers are a group of thirteen female Donegal fiddlers celebrating the healthy state of female fiddling in Donegal. In the autumn of 2019 the SíFiddlers ventured into the recording studio to produce their debut album showcasing some of the most popular and better known Donegal repertoire from all parts of the county.

Tickets, each costing €27.50/€22.50 (conc) plus €1 booking fee, are available from
